Here are some of the activities we schedule monthly or seasonally:
Breakfast Bunch: A monthly outing to a child-friendly location.
Cherry Blossom Festival: During the month of March, we enjoy the festival by attending picnics and performances that the festival has to offer. We have even marched in teh Children's Parade.
Craft Day: One day a month, moms and children meet to create a craft.
Easter Egg Hunt: We gather at the Ronald McDonald house & host an Easter Egg hunt for our children as well as all the families staying there.
Family Activities: We try to have a family activity once a quarter, so that everyone has a chance to meet the significant others we always here about & the activities are always as a family friendly place.
Fire Station Tour: We meet at a local station to learn about fire safety and take a tour of the station.
Holiday Party: We gather the families together to celebrate the holidays. Santa even pops in to hear each child's wish & to have their picture taken.
Hoot & Howl Actitivity Group: This is an activity group specifically for members whose significant others travel out of town or work late (hence the names - "Husbands Out Of Town" (HOOT) or "Husbands Working Late" (HOWL)). Whatever the name, this group is intended to give extra support to those members during the time when they may feel especially alone or stressed by temporarily being a "single parent".
Infant/Toddler Playgroup: This is a group has 4 individual groups for children between the ages of birth-4 years old that get together at least once a week at different locations for socializing.
Lake Days: During the summer, we meet at the lake to soak up the warm weather.
Lunch Bunch: A monthly outing to a child-friendly location.
Mom's Night Out: One night a month, moms get together for dinner or other activities for a chance to socialize.
Mommy's Playgroup: A chance for Moms with children in school or a Mother Morning Out program to get together and talk.
Monthly Meeting: A monthly meeting to discuss our activities, calendar, service projects, or any other topic that may need to be discussed. Guest speakers are sometimes present.
Movies: During the summer, the local movie theaters offer children movies at a discount.
Park Days: Pack a picnic and meet for some food and fun.
Pumpkin Patch: During the fall we meet a local pumpkin patch for pumpkin painting & playtime.
Strawberry Patch: When strawberries are in season, we meet at the local patch to pick strawberries, eat ice cream and enjoy a hay ride.
Sweetheart Stroll: In February, we gather to create a Valentine's Treat Bag, then we stroll from car to car to gather treats, then have a picnic lunch afterwards.
Story Time: We meet at a local library or book store for story time.
Trunk or Treat: In October, we meet at a local park to picnic, play and Trick or Treat from car to car.
Walking Club: Meet at different locations depending on the weather and bring your bikes/strollers for a walk with the other Moms and babies/kids.
